This is the official blog of LK Model Management, founded in 2013 by former model Lisa Kauffmann. Searching the Prairies for the next supermodel, our mission is to educate and inform parents and young models about the modeling industry to prepare them for successful international careers.

BIO:

Lisa Kauffmann was the first model from Calgary to have a successful modeling career overseas. Scouted at the age of 15 by Elite owner John Casablancas at Mount Royal Village Mall in the early 80's, Lisa was soon off to Paris and New York with a suitcase full of clothes and a dream. She did not have anyone to guide her through the labyrinth of the fashion world, but after years of hard work diligence and professionalism, she landed the cover of British Vogue, French Marie Claire, ELLE and was one of the faces of the iconic Revlon Most Unforgettable Women campaign shot by the late Richard Avedon.

After stepping away from modeling and raising her two sons in Brazil, Lisa is back in the modeling world as a scout and manager for new faces that she finds throughout the Prairies.

Her vast knowledge of the modeling world coupled with her enviable contact list and iron clad reputation as a professional in the field, as well as her compassion for young models' well being throughout their career, makes Lisa the best choice for young models wanting to get into modeling.
